At Síolta we value your privacy. Only members of a group, can view its participants, ensuring your profile remains private and visible only to those within your groups. People can only join your groups if they are voted in by the group members. Also unlike most apps we provide you a handy tool to delete all you data (in-app).
We started developing Síolta in 2023 when we noticed a lot people our age using dating apps to find friends. We thought a better solution should exist. So we created an app for everyone to build friend groups, centred around common shared interests. Instead of awkward one on one conversations you can meet a small group of potential friends all who share common interest that you define.
At Síolta, we hope people will use the app to get outside and socialise more. We hope people that have a hobby they never got to try or an interest they never pursued, due to not having friends to do it with, now have a home to find like minded people to pursue it with.
We will first drop the app on the Google Play Store only in Ireland and expand to the Apple App Store and the rest of the world later.
